将38.14g的十水合四硼酸钠Na2B4O7·10H2O与8g氢氧化钠溶于40g的水中，在其中加入用225g的水稀释的45g过氧化氢(30%)溶液。静置片刻，即可析出四水合物的结晶，过滤后，先用冷水、再依次用乙醇、乙醚洗涤。
