Biological Activity

[Description]:

Pedunculagin is a potent 5α-reductase type 1 inhibitor. Pedunculagin inhibits nitric oxide (NO), IL-6, IL-8 production. Pedunculagin decreases the protein expression of 5α-reductase. Pedunculagin shows anti-inflammatory activity[1].

[In Vitro]

Pedunculagin 在 RAW 246.7 细胞 中抑制一氧化氮 (NO) 的产生，IC50 值为 53.52 µM[1]。 Pedunculagin 在 HaCaT 细胞中抑制 IL-6、IL-8 的产生，IC50 分别为 6.59、0.09 µM[1]。 Pedunculagin (25, 50, 100 µM; 24 h) 降低 HaCaT 细胞中 5α-还原酶的蛋白表达[1]。 Western Blot Analysis[1] Cell Line: HaCaT cells Concentration: 25, 50, 100 µM Incubation Time: 24 h Result: Decreased the 5α-reductase protein expression in a dose-dependent manner.
