Quin-2AM (20 µM) or A23187 (20 µM) drastically activate mTF activity without detectable effect on mTF synthesis; both of which show that sustained functional upregulation during 24 h culture does not enhance Marcks expression. Quin-2AM (20 µM) changes the non-detectable Marcks level in 24 h cultures[1].
