1.由金属镉与硒化氢共热可制得硒化镉。也可通过高温，使金属镉与硒直接化合而得。

2.将硒化氢气体通入氯化镉或硫酸镉溶液，使硒化镉沉淀析出，通过抽滤、洗涤、干燥，便可得硒化镉产品。
