1. 主要用作合成TDI的原料和聚醚起始剂。以TDA为起始剂合成的聚醚多元醇，制成的泡沫均匀细致，可以提高泡沫的隔热性能及低温尺寸性能。 2. 用作环氧树脂固化剂、染料中间体。 3. 合成用于聚氨酯弹性体以及环氧树脂的芳香族二胺固化剂：二甲硫基甲苯二胺DMTDA、二乙基甲苯二胺DETDA。
