铀标准溶液制备
如图所示 钙还原UF4、NpF4、PuF4制备金属
单质的钢弹还原容器
(最大容器用作2.5kg的批量制备)
采用钢弹还原技术,用钙还原铀的氟化物(UF4)并用碘作为促进剂(增压器)可得到致密的金属铀熔渣。每摩尔铀需要加入约0.15mol碘来促进反应,钙金属过量约25%,所设计的反应装置如图所示。所有还原容器的交叉部分规模都趋向一致。最小的容器用于制备1g量的金属,产率>95%,最大的容器用于批量制备2.5kg量的金属,产率>99%。将氟化铀与粒状的钙和碘混合,倒进大小合适的还原容器中,所用容器是由一个不锈钢质且用镁砂作内衬的耐压容器组成,内衬可以是单个的低密度坩埚,在大装置中也可以是一个在环形空间中填充上镁砂的小一点的坩埚。在装上反应物以后,盖上盖子,抽空容器,再充上氩气,密封气体接口,给环形线圈接上10kHz的感应加热容器。加热后,倾出容器内的物质,打碎坩埚,机械分离金属熔渣和炉渣。
