【用途一】
用于制铁盐、氧化铁颜料、媒染剂、净水剂、防腐剂、消毒剂等,医药上作抗贫血药
【用途二】
用作分析试剂及制铁氧体原料
【用途三】
农业上可用作农药,能防治小麦黑穗病,苹果和梨的疤痂病、果树的腐烂病;也可用作肥料,能除去树干的青苔及地衣。是制造磁性氧化铁、氧化铁红和铁蓝无机颜料、铁催化剂及聚硫酸铁的原料。医药上用作局部收敛剂及补血剂。此外还用作色谱分析试剂等。食用级用作营养增补剂,如铁质强化剂、果蔬发色剂。饲料级硫酸亚铁,在饲料加工中作为铁的补充剂。
【用途四】
作食品铁强化剂。我国规定可用于夹心糖和食盐,使用量为3000~6000mg/kg;在高铁谷类及其制品(每日限食这类食品50g)中为860~960mg/kg;在乳制品和婴幼儿食品中为300- 500mg/kg;在谷类及其制品中为120~140mg/kg;在饮料中为50~100mg/kg。

作为饲料添加剂的铁强化剂。

硫酸亚铁分析滴定液制备

1.生产钛白粉副产法
钛铁矿用硫酸分解制钛白粉时,生成硫酸亚铁和硫酸铁,三价铁用铁丝还原成二价铁。经冷冻结晶可得副产硫酸亚铁。

2.硫酸法
将铁屑溶解于稀硫酸与母液的混合液中,控制反应温度在80℃以下,否则会析出一水硫酸亚铁沉淀。反应生成的微酸性硫酸亚铁溶液经澄清除去杂质,然后冷却、离心分离即得浅绿色硫酸亚铁。

3.金属铁溶于稀硫酸即可制得硫酸亚铁。将铁丝或铁屑先用氢氧化钠溶液处理以除去油污,用水洗净后放入15%~20%的硫酸溶液中,加热使其溶解,直至未溶的残渣不再溶解为止。将溶液滤出并转移到烧瓶中,加硫酸酸化到刚果红呈酸性反应。冷却后通硫化氢达饱和,塞紧瓶塞,静置2~3天,然后将烧瓶置于水浴上加热并过滤除去碳、碳化物、硫化物沉淀。将滤液转移到孚兹蒸馏瓶中,在通入无氧CO2的情况下,使溶液蒸发浓缩到原来体积的一半。使溶液在CO2气体中静置过夜,即可析出硫酸亚铁的结晶。将结晶与母液分离后,先用少量冷水洗涤,后用乙醇洗涤,最后将结晶放在二层滤纸间使其尽快干燥。这样所得的产品为七水硫酸亚铁FeSO4·7H2O。

4.用400份70~80℃的蒸馏水溶解200份工业硫酸亚铁,在热溶液中加入少量硫酸银,通蒸汽沸腾,以
除去Cl- 。将Cl- 含量合格的溶液冷却,调ph=5~6,通硫化氢,使Zn2+,Cu2+等离子含量合格。然后
过滤,滤液必须清亮。往滤液中通蒸汽煮沸1h,待沉淀完全后,过滤,滤液用化学纯硫酸调ph=1~2后,蒸发浓缩至38~40℃,趁热抽滤,滤液再用化学纯硫酸调ph=1,冷却结晶,甩干,并在60℃以下烘至不沾勺为止,成品要密封,避光,严禁有机物混入。母液可循环利用。
