Platensimycin用途

血小板霉素(platensmycin)是一种由S.platensis产生的抗生素,它通过选择性抑制细胞脂质合成(IC50=0.1μM)来抑制革兰氏阳性菌。铂霉素靶向β-酮酰酰基载体蛋白合成酶I/II,FabF/B,一种参与脂肪酸生物合成的酶(金黄色葡萄球菌和大肠杆菌的IC50s分别为48 nM和160 nM)。血小板霉素是一种很有前途的抗药性药物。
