NSC 45576 is a potent Exchange proteins directly activated by cAMP (EPAC) inhibitor with IC50 of 1.7 uM; inhibits cAMP-induced EPAC activation while not affecting PKA activity; a valuable pharmacological tools for elucidating the biological functions of EPAC and for promoting an understanding of disease mechanisms related to EPAC/cAMP signaling.
