Biological Activity

[Description]:

5,7,8-Trimethoxycoumarin is an anti-Parasite agent with IC50s of 25.5 μM and 57.7 μM against Trypanosoma cruzi and L. amazonensis, respectively[1].

5,7,8-Trimethoxycoumarin (0-100 μM; 72 h) 抑制 Trypanosoma cruzi 和 L. amazonensis 的增殖[1]。 Cell Proliferation Assay[1] Cell Line: Trypanosoma cruzi (epimastigotes) and L. amazonensis (promastigote) Concentration: 1.5, 3.1, 6.2, 12.5, 25, 50 and 100 μM Incubation Time: 72 h Result: Inhibited the proliferation in a dose-dependent manner with IC50s of 25.5 μM and 57.7 μM against Trypanosoma cruzi and L. amazonensis, respectively.
