Use of CSIC E379CSIC E379 is a potent, selective uncoupling proteins UCP1/UCP2 inhibitor with EC50 of 20 uM/30 uM, respectively; does not affect OXPHOS system and membrane permeability in liver mitochondria; causes oxidative stress, inhibit the cellular respiration of the cancer cell line HT-29; increases the production of superoxide and decreases the cell viability; potentiates the efficacy of the cytotoxic drug arsenic trioxide. |
