1.将2-硝基丙烷与甲醛水溶液反应，然后浓缩为含70%2-甲基-2-硝基-1-丙醇的水溶液。用甲醇稀释为30%。加入压热釜中，加入硝基物重量5%的骨架镍，在30℃、267大气压下加氢还原6-8h。在常压下蒸出甲醇和大部分水后，减压蒸馏，收集103℃（8.53-8.67kPa）馏分，即为2-氨基-2-甲基-1-丙醇。按2-硝基丙烷计，收率70.5%。
