用作防腐剂,用于糕点、杨梅等防霉

【用途三】
丙酸钠液湿酸型防腐剂,其抑菌作用受环境PH的影响。在PH5.0时最小抑菌浓度为0.01%,PH6.5时为0.5%。在酸性介质中对各类霉菌、好氧芽孢杆菌或革兰阴性杆菌由较强的抑制作用。对防止黄曲霉菌素的产生有特效,而对酵母几乎无效。此外,也作为食品的防腐剂。
【用途四】
在制革中作蒙囿剂,以提高皮革的耐碱力和鞣制的均匀性。
【用途五】
丙酸钠也是酸型食品防腐剂,其抑菌作用受环境pH值的影响。在pH值5.0时最小抑菌浓度为0.01%,pH值6.5时为0.5%。在酸性介质中对各类霉菌、革兰氏阴性杆菌或好氧芽孢杆菌有较强的抑制作用。对防止黄曲霉菌素的产生有特效,而对酵母几乎无效。在食品工业中,可用于糕点的保存,使用量2.5g/kg(以丙酸计,下同);在3%~5%的水溶液浸泡杨梅中最大使用量50g/kg。还可作饲料的防霉剂。
