D-(+)-岩藻糖是l-阿拉伯糖的非代谢类似物。D-(+)-岩藻糖通过抑制l-阿拉伯糖操纵子的诱导,阻止大肠杆菌B/r在矿物盐培养基上加上l-阿拉伯糖的生长[1]。D-岩藻糖是β-甲基半乳糖苷透皮酶(MGP)的有效诱导剂[2]。
