本品和钼酸盐有毒,金属钼和二硫化钼毒性较弱。钼中毒引起足痛风,尿酸形成增高,出现关节病和多关节痛。低血压,血压不稳定,神经系统功能紊乱,代谢过程障碍。钼的可溶性化合物,其气溶胶的最大允许浓度为2mg/m3,粉尘为4mg/m3,钼的不溶性化合物为6mg/m3。
