将硫酸亚铁溶解,加入氧化剂(HNO3)将亚铁氧化为高价硫酸铁,用氢氧化钠中和,在高压釜中将亚氧化铁在高压、高温和浓碱中水热处理制得云母氧化铁结晶,过滤、洗涤、干燥即得六角片状α-Fe2O3,粒径可控制在2~60μ,径厚比为(1∶10)~(1∶30)。

2.熔融复盐高温氧化法 以金属铁、氯气和氯化钠为原料,制备合成云母氧化铁。主要反应式如下。

本方法采用的主反应器为衬有耐火材料的圆柱形钢筒,其顶部和底部配有盖子,气体从底部进入,顶部排出。

首先在反应器底部装入一层填料和耐火材料块支撑层,在其上装入一厚层铁屑、盐和耐火材料块的混合物,预热反应器中填充物料底部至约700℃,通入氯和空气混合物进行氯化和复合,氯与铁屑和盐反应,在耐火材料块支撑物表面形成一层氯化钠氯化铁复盐(如NaFeCl4),氯气加入量应控制反应区高度仅为反应物填充层总高度的几分之一。通入空气进行氧化,氧与熔融状态的NaFeCl4反应,生成被包裹在盐层中的片状氧化铁晶体,同时放出的氯气从反应区上移进而形成新的反应区,重复上述过程直至氯气从反应器顶部排出,反应即结束,从反应器底部放出填充物,溶解耐火材料块上的盐层,过滤收集合成云母氧化铁,经洗涤、干燥、分级即制得合成云母氧化铁,其厚度为0.5~5μm,直径1~100μm。控制反应条件和分级条件可获得不同粒径、不同厚度以及所需粒度分布的产品。
