Biological Activity

[Description]:

OG-L002 is a potent and highly selective LSD1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.02 μM. OG-L002 is a potent monoamine oxidases (MAO) inhibitor with IC50s of 1.38 μM and 0.72 μM for MAO-A and MAO-B, respectively. OG-L002 potently inhibits the expression of HSV IEgenes[1].

[In Vitro]

OG-L002 inhibits viral IE gene expression in both cells with a significantly reduced IC50 (IC50: ~10 µM in HeLa cells; IC50: ~3 µM in HFF cells) relative to the control MAOI TCP (IC50: ~1 mM)[1].

[In Vivo]

OG-L002 (i.p.; 6-40 mg/kg; daily; for 7 days) reduces the levels of detectable viral genomes in the ganglia in a dose-dependent manner at both 3 and 5 days postinfection[1]. Animal Model: 4-week-old BALB/c female mice[1] Dosage: 6, 20, 40 mg/kg Administration: Intraperitoneal; daily; for 7 days Result: Reduced the levels of detectable viral genomes in the ganglia in a dose-dependent manner at both 3 and 5 days postinfection.
