[In Vivo]

Avridine-induced arthritis is severe and long lasting in LEW and DA rats[2]. CP-20961 (10 mg/kg, i.v., once either 24, 48, or 72 hours post-burn) had no effect on survival after challenge with P. aeruginosa 96 hours post-burn[3]. Animal Model: Female, Hartley-derived guinea pigs, weighing 350 to 400 g[3]. Dosage: 10 mg/kg. Administration: IV once either 24, 48, or 72 hours post-burn. Result: Had no effect on survival after challenge with P. aeruginosa 96 hours post-burn.
