Description | Chlorin e6 is a photosensitizer. Chlorin e6 has significantly high photosensitizing activity when present in insulin-containing conjugates and thus able to be internalized by receptor-expressing cells. Chlorin E6 effects viability and mitochondrial activity of Leishmania major and Leishmania braziliensis promastigotes[1][2]. |
