Antibacterial[1]

In Vivo Feeding of Sulfaethoxypyridazine, a long-acting sulfonamide, to rats at dietary levels of 800, 1600, and 3200 ppm resulted in the development of characteristic lens opacities by 23 weeks. Daily oral administration of 30, 67, and 150 mg/kg to dogs resulted in the development of similar cataracts by 14 weeks[1].
