【方法一】
苯甲醛经环合、水解、中和而得该品。将碳酸氢氨及氰化钠溶液投入反应锅，在搅拌下滴入苯甲醛，75-80℃保温反应3h，得苯乙内酰脲。抽入高压釜内，加氢氧化钠溶液，升温，将反应生成的氨气放空1h，然后在130-160℃水解3h。放料，加HCl中和至pH=6-7，离心甩干，得DL-2-苯基甘氨酸。还有乙醛酸路线，可降低生产成本，解决传统工艺原料毒性高的难题。
