制备方法一
以3,4-二氯甲苯和间苯二酚为原料经氯化、氟代、醚化、硝化、醇解等反应制得。



制备方法二
以3,4-二氯三氟甲苯和间苯二酚盐为原料,经1:4配比,于140~160℃反应,然后用醋酐酰化,再经混酸于20~30℃硝化,无机酸存在下皂化,最后与等摩尔溴乙烷作用,制得乙氧氟草醚。此法较制备方法一更合理。
