工业上由萘在镍催化剂存在下进行催化加氢得到两种异构体的等量混合物。如果需要较纯的异构体,可将工业级十氢萘用浓硫酸洗至酸层无色。然后碱洗、水洗,分去水层,用干燥剂干燥。减压精馏,在130块理论塔板的塔中,回流比接近145:1,可得纯度达99.93%(重量)的顺式异构体;在200块理论塔板的塔中,回流比为160:1,可得纯度达99.97%的反式异构体。
