  • 用作印染媒染剂、木材防腐剂、造纸漂白剂,还用于医药、人造纤维、电解、电镀、农药及生产锌盐等
  • 锌是许多酶系统(如碳酸酐酶、乙醇脱氢酶和碱性磷酸酶等)的组成部分,锌缺乏可导致酶功能异常。口服硫酸锌可纠正锌缺乏,恢复酶系统的功能。锌离子能沉淀蛋白质,外用有收敛防腐作用,且能帮助肉芽组织形成。适用于治疗由于锌缺乏引起的肠病性肢端皮炎、口疮、慢性溃疡、结膜炎等。但与青霉胺共用可使后者作用减弱。
    血浆、肝脏、腺胰和骨骼组织是锌的快速交换、储存场所,对日常锌水平的变化很敏感。锌影响动物生长、发育和繁殖功能,影响骨骼和血液的形成及核酸、蛋白质和碳水化合物代谢。与毛的生长、皮肤的健康、创伤的愈合有关。在这些组织上,锌主要与酶结合,作为酶必不可少的组成成分和激活剂。锌是碳酸酐酶胰腺的羧基肽酶、谷氨酸和乳酸脱氢酶等的分子组成成分。可激活尿酸酶、肠液中的二肽酶和其他酶。可通过对垂体、促性腺激素的作用间接对繁殖机能发生作用,一水硫酸锌在饲料中可作为锌元素增补剂。

1.将一水硫酸锌ZnSO4·H2O加热至280℃左右使其完全脱水即可生成无水硫酸锌。也可用七水硫酸锌ZnSO4·7H2O为起始物,先在较低的温度下缓慢加热,使其逐步脱水变为一水合物,然后将温度升高至280℃左右。
