In Vitro Levophacetoperane inhibits in vitro in a competitive manner, norepinephrin uptake in Rat hypothalamus and cortex, and dopamine uptake in corpus striatum and cortex. Levophacetoperane is a psychostimulant[1]. Levophacetoperane has been used as an antidepressant and anorectic. Levophacetoperane is the reverseester of methylphenidate.
