Description | 10-Isobutyryloxy-8,9-epoxythymol isobutyrate is a major constituent of Inula helenium and Inula royleana root cultures. 10-Isobutyryloxy-8,9-epoxythymol isobutyrate shows moderate antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus FDA 209 P, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Candida albicans and Pseudomonas aeruginosa with MICs of 50, 250, 250, 250, and 1000 μg/mL, respectively[1]. |
