In Vitro Arachidonyl alcohol can be converted from arachidonic acid, then arachidonyl alcoho accumulated inside the cells as a wax ester. A new strain, Acinetobacter species N-476-2, can effectively convert arachidonic acid to arachidonyl alcohol[1].
