Sorbitan monopalmitate is used for niosomes particle preparation. Sorbitan monopalmitate can be used as an excipient, such as nonionic surfactants, emulsifiers. Pharmaceutical excipients, or pharmaceutical auxiliaries, refer to other chemical substances used in the pharmaceutical process other than pharmaceutical ingredients.
