5-氨基戊酸是人体唾液中存在的正常代谢物,慢性牙周炎患者的浓度有升高的趋势[1]。 5-氨基戊酸也被认为是γ-氨基丁酸(GABA)的亚甲基同系物,并起到弱GABA激动剂的作用[2]。它也被称为抗纤维蛋白溶解氨基酸类似物,因此它作为血液凝固途径的弱抑制剂起作用[3]。
