Description | 3-O-Methyl-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine is a potent inhibitor of N-acetylglucosamine kinase. 3-O-Methyl-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine potently inhibits glucose phosphorylation by N-acetylglucosamine kinase whereas glucokinase is not at all affected by this hexosamine[1]. |
