Use of CYP11B1-IN-25CYP11B1-IN-25 is a selective, potent 11β-hydroxylase (CYP11B1) inhibitor with IC50 of 2 nM, displays 14-fold selectivity over CYP11B2; inhibits rat CYP11B1 in V79MZ cells expressing recombinant rat CYP11B1 with IC50 of 1.8 uM; shows a high oral bioavailability (F = 50%) and sufficient plasma concentrations in rats, improved pharmacological profile for treatment of Cushing's disease. |
