A type of dye that chemically reacts with a fiber during dyeing is called a reactive dye, also known as a reactive dye. Most reactive dyes are soluble in water. First invented in 1956 by Imperial Chemical Industries of England. The molecular structure includes the parent dye and the active moiety. Their general structure can be represented by the following formula: W—D—B—Re where D is a color body; B is a linking group of an active group and a color body; Re is an active group; and W is an aqueous solution group. The parent dye includes dyes of structural types such as azo, anthracene, phthalocyanine and a mouth. The active groups are a s-triazine type, a vinyl sulfone type, a quinoxaline type, a pyrimidine type, and an acrylamide type. Among them, the production of the reactive dyes of the s-triazine type and the vinyl sulfone type is the largest. Such as reactive brilliant red XB and reactive brilliant orange KN-4R. The reactive dye molecule contains a group capable of reacting with the fiber, and the dye reacts with the fiber to form a new covalent bond during dyeing, thereby greatly improving the color fastness, especially the wet processing fastness. Reactive dyes are easy to apply, bright in color, complete in chromatography, and low in cost, and are used for dyeing and printing of various fibers such as cotton, hemp, viscose, wool, silk and blended fabrics. When the reactive dye is dyed, it is accompanied by hydrolysis of the dye. Therefore, in addition to dyeing and fixing, there is a post-treatment stage to sufficiently wash away the hydrolyzed dye. The dye fixing rate is generally not more than 70%. In order to improve the fixing rate, in recent years, a reactive dye having two or more active groups (having two or more active groups in the molecule) has appeared, and the fixing rate is 85% to 95%.
